this is me

Well hello! I have been a lurking around reading many, MANY a crafty blog for quite so time now, thought I'd jump in and give it a go.

About me, mum to 4, wife to one who sometimes sleeps here. He works out of town, drive in, drive out, 12 days on, 9 days off. Best roster in the mining industry so 'they' tell me. Not as bad as it sounds. Just busy. But then again what mum isn't?

Love crafty stuff. Whatever that may be. Sewing, smocking, stitching, quilting, bag making, cooking with the kids, crafting with the kids, looking at other peoples crafty goodness, I could go on and on.....

Not a fan of cross stitch, tried it once and I just don't have the patience. Hats off to those who can. And I don't mend. Or like cleaning.
