Wedding Quilt.....only 4 years late ;)

I am so happy with how this quilt has turned out!

Fabric used - 2 charm packs of 'Botany' by Lauren and Jessi Jung for Moda. I purchased them from Retro Mummy however they are all sold out. You can still get charm packs from the Fat Quarter Shop and in Australia from Busy Thimbles.

The white fabric is quilters muslin purchased from Retro Mummy. I love it! I will not be using anything else now. Beautiful and soft. Fantastic to work with.

So happy with the quilting! Was done by Wendy, a Horsham local, and member of Horsham Patchwork Quilters Inc.
I used 100% Australian made cotton batting from Retro Mummy. Beautiful and clean. Quite light in colour, so doesn't show up under the white. The white batting at my local Spotlight was more than twice the cost!!

And I have no idea who or what the binding fabric is lol! Was purchased at Horsham Sewing Centre and matches perfectly!

So there is quilt no. 1. Finished, gifted and hopefully on their bed or couch! Only thing missing is a label. Can't rush these things after all ;) xox

Oh didn't you do a beautiful job! I want to drop everything and make a similar quilt this very weekend! who cares what else I have on or socialising!

you can't beat the white sashing and yes I have to agree the white quilters muslin is so gorgeously soft and you can rest assured that no one has walked across it or dirtied it the way they do at spotlight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

thanks for the mention, you are one of my best customers btw :)
