This is my Dad's house in country Victoria
This was taken 2 days after the water came through about a fortnight ago.
They had no warning.
Lucky for them the water didn't come completely inside and they are all safe and well.
The debris up against the bridge is meant to be the farmer up the road's new chook shed.
That's my Aunty's house under that circle.
They had warning and could empty out their house. House is dry, property is not.
While Victoria is not as tragic or news worthy as Queensland, this is their tragedy. It's real for them.

Wow, amazing photos, glad to hear everyone is OK. The poor old eastern states have copped a flogging; makes me feel almost guilty enjoying this most glorious weather we've been having!
Hope your going good Bianca, would love to catch up with you soon!
Oh I'm so sorry to hear about your dad's property, gee they were lucky they didn't get flood damage inside. It;s so amazing to see so much water down south when it has been dry for so long.
Hope their properties dry out soon.
Good to see you back blogging.
Amazing photos Bianca. It's so hard to believe how quick the waters came for so many, must have been terrifying to see.
Its all insane!
Lucky we bought our boy a boat for his birthday.
Miss you lovely, hope things are good. XX
