My creative space

Slow stitches

In the 2 whole hours I have to myself while the boy child is in pre-school (kinder for some of you folks) and the little one sleeps.

Total bliss :)

That stitching looks so relaxing... you're inspiring me to go find a hoop and just meditate on a few slow stitches myself.

Oh just you wait, soon enough you'll have 4 hour days with no one home, you, silence, sewing, then 30 hours a week, it's the reward for being an awesome mummy of many, then embrace that 3p.m. school bell. My eldest starts high school on Monday, my 4th baby is in year 2, i skip around school holidays loving that they are home again.
School holidays to me are like the nap times when i had 4 under 5, i get so much more done!! Love Posie

I love the way embroidery has that effect of slowing you down. It looks like a lot of fun to create too.

I'm envious! You are very lucky to get 2 hours. It's great to see you're taking that time to yourself. It's so important when you're a Mum. I'm lucky if I get 1. Can't get much done in 1 hour. Very frustrating some days.
