Teachers pet

These notebooks were given to the girls class room teachers today. They were made at 4.30 this morning...yes I am reliving my final year of high school again and pulling all nighters to get stuff done! The pattern for the covers come from here. I have made so many of these now. Quick and easy! Just how I like it.

In other news the kids are changing schools, by choice instead of a work move. We are now part of the Steiner community. Home birth and Steiner education...does this make us hippies?? I wonder...;)

Don't forget to pop in the Allies Attic Market tomorrow and say hi to Corrie

Now, back to my sewing machine. Only 10 wraps to go....I think! xox

Nice Note books.
Lucky teachers.
I think you would have to get rid of the computer, iphone, sewing machine (singer treadle would be OK)DVD player ....... to be a hippie.
But I could be wrong, have been wrong before, not often though :)

As a teacher, I love love love seeing beautiful things made by parents for teachers. It means so much to be acknowledged at the end of the year. The notebooks look great Bianca.

And a new school... and Steiner.. how exciting!

Congrats on the new school! You hippie you :-)

Think I better make one of these journal covers for my little girls fave teacher at daycare too. Struggling to think of something to make her.

The teachers will be wrapped with those :)
I read on Corries blog you are going to that convention in Melbourne - I am so jealous! Wondering, just wondering if I should see if I can come along.
